The 2020 Volkl Kama returns this year unchanged except for a minor graphic tweak. Volkl obviously saw something great in the way that the Kama is able to handle a wide variety of terrain and conditions, and tons of skiers over the years love the easy turning and fun-loving nature of the skis. The shape, profile, and build combine to create a fantastic ski for intermediate cruisers who love to get out there and ski. At 83 mm underfoot, the Kama splits the difference between a dedicated on-trail ski and an adventurous off-piste ski. As a result, Volkl makes a lot of skiers happy. They're wide enough to handle soft and broken snow while remaining narrow enough to generate a good amount of carving power. Featuring tip rocker but camber underfoot and a flat tail, the Kama is a bit more on-piste oriented, as the tip rocker helps pull you into the turn, but the flat tail has some great edge grip and rebound. Camber underfoot is perfect for holding that edge on the hard pack or when the going gets steeper and more technical. Built with a multi-layer wood core and no metal, the skis are flexible and easy to turn. The wood core is quick and snappy, so skiers who like moguls or want to improve their quick-turning ability will love the maneuverability of the Kama. The 2020 Volkl Kama Women's skis are a fantastic choice for intermediate all-mountain cruisers.
